When they asked Jesus what was the most important command God has for His people,
He replied...
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:29-31)
At Life Bridge, we take that seriously.
Praying at the Farmers' Market
We love people because God loves people. We want to bring people and their needs before the God who loves them and can change everything about their lives. In the summer, we are present on Main Street every Thursday during the Farmers' Market to pray for Wauconda.
Building Beds
We help Love INC build and deliver beds to children who have none. When it's time to build beds, everyone helps: men, women and children (with supervision of course!). Those who don't want to handle power tools help make blankets for the children receiving the beds, help deliver, meet the families, etc.
Feeding the hungry
We partner with the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry to collect and distribute food to those in need. We conduct food drives periodically and we host a local food truck where the hungry can be served nutritious food and receive prayer.
